Your role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for working with a large team of IBM research scientists and hardware developers to test superconducting qubit devices. The focus of this role is to improve quantum processor development team efficiency and consistency by leading standardized test execution including microwave signal path wiring and cryostat operation. You would then collaborate with the physicists and engineers leading the research and development of qubit couplers, readout structures, and interconnects to meet IBM Quantum roadmap deliverables.
Required technical and professional expertise

Experience measuring microwave devices.

Experience in software control of laboratory scientific equipment.
Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience measuring superconducting qubit devices.

Experience in cryostat operation and maintenance.

Experience in modifying and maintaining software test infrastructure.
