Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for any suspicious activity or security breaches.
  • Operate and monitor security surveillance systems to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
  • Control access to buildings by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to report and investigate incidents.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, security incidents, and irregularities.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats and promote a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role in a corporate or institutional setting.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate surveillance and security equipment effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
  • Capable of remaining calm and making quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties and respond to incidents as needed.
  • Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
  • MUST provide your own handgun (9mm, 40cal or 45cal)
  • MUST provide a duty holster (Level II or III) and gear (belt, handcuffs, flashlight, etc.)
