- You strengthen project delivery by taking ownership of discipline-specific outputs and ensuring they are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with expectations.
- You improve design clarity and coordination by applying developing engineering judgment to resolve issues, validate assumptions, and make informed decisions with increasing independence.
- You accelerate your growth through mentorship—actively integrating feedback and building the capability needed to take on larger scopes and more complex responsibilities.
- You strengthen client trust by showing up prepared, responsive, and reliable in meetings and coordination discussions.
- You maintain alignment across disciplines by communicating clearly, closing loops proactively, and ensuring decisions and next steps are understood.
- You enhance team performance by sharing insights, asking questions, and helping Designers develop stronger documentation and modeling habits.
- You reinforce firmwide consistency by maintaining clear, organized documentation that teams can rely on.
- You improve project efficiency by identifying coordination or workflow gaps and offering practical suggestions that reduce ambiguity and rework.
- You strengthen discipline processes by documenting client nuances, refining notes, and sharing lessons learned that drive continuous improvement.
What Success in this Position Looks Like
- You deliver accurate, well-coordinated discipline designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations with consistent follow-through.
- You complete discipline tasks for projects independently—confirming assumptions, validating decisions, and asking clarifying questions when needed.
- You support Project Leads and senior engineers by preparing coordinated layouts, documentation, research, product evaluations, and early design narratives that strengthen project direction.
- You manage your workload effectively by prioritizing tasks, communicating risks early, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
- You apply TEECOM standards and documentation practices reliably and contribute improvements by sharing observations, raising questions, or offering documented feedback.
- You participate actively in client meetings and coordination sessions and produce clear notes that maintain alignment and capture decisions accurately.
- You collaborate with engineers and design partners to identify coordination issues, document impacts, and support resolution across disciplines.
- You maintain organized, up-to-date documentation in GitHub, Design Decision Logs, Asana, and Callback One and contribute updates that enhance clarity or workflow.
- You complete daily time and expense entries accurately and uphold disciplined habits that support predictable project delivery.
- You model TEECOM’s Core Values—Care, Trust, and Value—through clear communication, accountability, and dependable project execution.
