German Speaking Nanny / Housekeeper - Full-time - Switzerland at Good-People

Language requirement: German (C2 level)

Position overview:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced nanny / housekeeper to join a family based in Morges. This is a full-time position combining childcare and light household duties.

Responsibilities:

• Caring for a 19-month-old child (care, development, safety)
• Organising age-appropriate activities
• Ensuring the child’s well-being and development
• Screen-free environment (zero tolerance policy)
• Organising a daily outdoor/nature activity
• Planning fun and educational activities suited to the child’s age
• Supporting and stimulating the child’s motor development through appropriate activities
• Planning structured daily routines with the child (e.g. Wednesday: visit to Morges market)
• Developing knowledge of the child’s developmental milestones (sitting, crawling, standing, walking) and supporting the child through suitable exercises
• Taking care of a caniche (dog), including basic care and walks
• Performing light household tasks, including:
• Vacuuming
• Tidying up
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Maintaining a clean and organised home
• Collaborating with the family and adapting to their needs and routines

Requirements

Profile required:

• EU passport or valid Swiss Work Permit
• Proven experience with young children (+3 years)
• Reliable, autonomous, and well-organised
• Strong communication skills and sense of responsibility
• Ability to integrate into a family environment
• Excellent command of German (C2 level)
• Previous experience with pets is a plus
