Temporary Delivery Truck Driver - Non-CDL at Sundae Artisan Ice Cream

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive company vehicles, including a NON-CDL refrigerated box truck through various weather and traffic conditions, always obeying all company vehicle procedures, traffic signs, signals and traffic laws
• Distribute inventory and supplies to and from various Sundae locations from Snowmass Village to Vail
• Handle, pack, move, and stock various food products, making sure food safety and product quality standards are consistently met
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies transfers by following all company logistic procedures
• Adjust schedules and priorities as needed to ensure timely delivery; creatively solve and communicate distribution-related issues
• Perform daily vehicle checks and complete light vehicle maintenance, such as adding air to tires & adding fluids, to confirm vehicle is operating properly
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, facilities and delivery related equipment
• Generate positive interactions with co-workers, customers and the general public through professionalism and knowledge of our brand standards and processes
• May have an occasional opportunity to learn and contribute to various repair and maintenance responsibilities

Requirements

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Morning availability preferred
• Able to safety operate, drive, and park a non-cdl refrigerated truck

ROLE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Move, traverse or remain in a stationary position for up to 10 hours
• Willing and able to work in various weather conditions and to safely drive in unpredictable weather and traffic situations
• Safely operate a non-cdl refrigerated box truck, truck ramp, motorized hand cart and non motorized hand cart
• Regularly move up to 60 pounds for a distance of 5 feet or more
• Regularly ascend/descend steps and ramps to access supplies and inventory at various locations and in vehicles
• Regularly move up to 400 pounds with assistance (e.g., via hand truck) for a distance of 100 feet or more
• Occasionally position self to clean, maintain equipment, and retrieve items below counter height
