This role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered landscape equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Requirements

You may be a great fit if you can:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered landscaping equipment and vehicles.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities using fleet management software.
• Collaborate with shop management and field staff to prioritize and manage workload.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Possess strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and landscape equipment operation.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and proper parts inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and parts safely.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• MUST be authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in landscaping or heavy equipment, is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons or snow events as needed.
