We’re looking for a new Import and Logistics Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Munich, Germany.

The Import & Logistics Planner is responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of product from supplier through to final delivery to customers. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain this role works closely with logistics planners, warehouse teams and D&SP to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone with good experience in logistics, imports or supply chain who is comfortable working closely with warehouses, suppliers and internal teams. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and confident in managing moving parts, solving problems and keeping things on track in a fast-paced environment. FMCG experience is a must.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and check import documentation for overseas shipments, including packing lists, invoices, bills of lading and certificates
- Enter shipment details into the ERP system and keep stakeholders updated on arrivals and changes
- Track vessel arrivals and maintain accurate shipment and stock records
- Work closely with the Quality team to follow up on supplier certifications and resolve any issues with incoming stock
- Coordinate daily outbound deliveries across Germany and other markets, ensuring products are delivered on time
- Plan and prioritise orders based on customer needs, delivery schedules and product readiness
- Ensure all outbound paperwork is accurate and completed on time, including invoices and delivery notes
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics and planning teams to keep operations running smoothly
- Identify and escalate any risks to deliveries, stock quality or timing
- Support process improvements and help develop more efficient ways of working across the supply chain
Requirements
Experience we look for:
- Proven experience in import documentation and/or logistic processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Transportation systems and Excel for managing packing lists, inventory, and ship tracking.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data analysis and reporting (Excell, Power BI).
- Fluency in German at B2 level at minimum is essential; business-level English is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Affinity with the fresh produce sector
