Relief Veterinarian (Friday's only)
Location: Syler Veterinary Clinic - Athens, Texas

Syler Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Relief Veterinarian to support our close‑knit, one‑doctor small animal practice on Fridays only. This role is ideal for a DVM who enjoys general practice wellness appointments and routine surgery in a well-organized, low‑stress environment that prioritizes individualized care and strong client relationships.

The relief veterinarian will be scheduled for a mix of wellness visits, sick appointments, and routine surgical procedures. Our practice is supported by a highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) team that provides excellent assistance with anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, nursing care, client education, and workflow efficiency, allowing the doctor to stay focused on patient care.

This is a flexible relief opportunity, and candidates are not required to commit to every Friday. We are open to working with relief veterinarians to fill individual Fridays or coverage gaps based on mutual availability. Our goal is to build a reliable pool of doctors who can help support the schedule as needed, rather than requiring a standing weekly commitment.

Schedule: Every Friday, 8am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch
Must do Surgery
$900/day rate - Flexible
