We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with strong Texas law expertise to join our on-site team. This is a senior-level role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation setting and enjoys working closely with attorneys and team members in-office.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
🔹 Lead & Support the Team
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior paralegals
- Ensure high-quality, consistent work across the team
🔹 Discovery & Case Strategy
- Draft and respond to discovery requests from scratch
- Develop case-specific legal strategies based on facts and law
🔹 Legal Drafting
- Prepare petitions, pleadings, and complaints for state and federal courts
- Draft motions, including motions to compel
🔹 Jury Charge Development
- Create precise jury charges to guide case strategy
- Align discovery and pleadings with key legal elements
🔹 Evidence & Case Management
- Review and analyze discovery, medical records, and case evidence
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, and strategically aligned
🔹 Trial Preparation
- Prepare detailed trial binders and support attorneys during trial
- Coordinate and organize all necessary trial materials
🔹 Deadline Management
- Track court deadlines and ensure timely filings
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- 5+ years as a Litigation Paralegal
- Strong background in Texas Plaintiff Personal Injury law
Expertise:
- Proven ability to independently handle discovery and legal drafting
- Experience developing case strategies from the ground up
Skills:
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
Leadership:
- Ability to train, guide, and support junior team members
On-Site Commitment:
- Comfortable working in an in-office, team-oriented environment
