Accounting Specialist
Full Time| $50,000 - $70,000 | Framingham, MA Headquarters

Join the growing accounting team at Superior Communication Services as an Accounting Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations accurate, efficient, and organized. In this position, you will handle a variety of day to day accounting functions, support financial reporting activities, and help strengthen the overall effectiveness of our financial processes. You’ll work hands on with essential accounting processes, support real time financial insights, and help keep our operations running seamlessly behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payables and receivables.
- Process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Secure and accurately post payments to customer accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and associated entries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, or inquiries regarding invoices.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and support operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
