Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Facilitate participation in social and recreational activities that promote community integration.
• Implement individualized care plans and track clients' progress toward their goals.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to clients and their families.
• Maintain a safe and positive living environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to enhance the support provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in healthcare or social services is advantageous.
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community engagement.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain shortly after hire.
