We are looking for a detail-oriented Visual Inspector to join our team in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in visual inspections, preferably within the aerospace industry or a related field.
This is a full-time position, 3- month contract with first-shift hours (10- hour shift).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on visual inspections of components for damage, rust, burrs, foreign object debris (FOD), scratches, dents, and other surface imperfections
Perform detailed visual checks to ensure parts meet quality and cleanliness standards
Interpret basic engineering drawings and notes
Take basic measurements using standard tools when needed but mostly this will consist of visual inspection
Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with FOD prevention and safety standards
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple inspection tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Follow all safety protocols, quality procedures, and company standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
Collaborate with team members and other departments to support production schedules and quality improvement initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience inspecting mechanical parts (client-specific training provided)
Must have good communication
Proficiency in verifying products against drawing requirements
Strong communication skills and technological proficiency
Must be willing to undergo a background check
Must be able to meet ITAR requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Experience using hand precision tools
