Introduction to the Team & Role
At 360Learning, we transform how companies learn and collaborate. To support our growth, we are looking for a Senior Contract Counsel.
Reporting directly to the VP Legal & DPO, you will be at the heart of our commercial engine for the US, Canada, and UK regions. You will protect the company while acting as a business accelerator. As a strategic partner to our Sales and Customer Success teams, you will drive deals from initial contact to closing. You don’t just "review" clauses; you build solutions.
You will be joining a team where mutual support is the rule, not the exception. While your primary focus is our North American and British markets, you will thrive in an environment where expertise is shared across borders. You will bring your Common Law mastery to the table and, in return, won’t hesitate to lend a hand on other regions (mainly French negotiation) or cross-functional projects (IP, Compliance, etc.) based on the team's priorities.
Together, we shape the company’s global doctrine, particularly on cutting-edge issues like Privacy and the AI Act.

Within 1 month, you will:
Complete our internal onboarding to become an expert on 360Learning’s culture, our product offering, and our "Legal Ops" tools (CLM, Trello, etc.).
Engage in virtual coffee meets with our key stakeholders in the US, UK, and Canada.
Participate in active negotiations led by one of the team members to understand our "deal-making" philosophy and our risk appetite.
Within 3 months, you will:
Take full ownership of standard and mid-size contract negotiations for the US, Canada, and UK regions.
Act as the go-to legal partner for the North American Sales team, providing pragmatic solutions to unblock deals.
Start sharing your Common Law expertise with the team and contribute to your first cross-functional project
Within 6 months, you will:
Handle high-stakes deals: Lead complex, multi-year negotiations with minimal supervision.
Expand your scope: Take the lead on a major transversal topic (such as AI compliance or a specific compliance project) that impacts the company globally.
Bridge the gap: Optimize our contract templates for the US/UK markets based on the feedback you’ve gathered from the field.
Within 12 months, you will:
Be fully recognized by the North American and UK Sales leadership as a key partner who doesn't just "check boxes" but actively helps close strategic revenue. You have built a relationship of high trust where Legal is seen as a competitive advantage.
Be fully recognized as a leader within the legal team, capable of stepping in on any region or complex dossier when the squad needs it.
