Creed Medical is looking for empathetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them lead empowered and fulfilling lives. As a DSP, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, promoting their independence, and encouraging active participation in community activities. Your role will involve creating a nurturing environment that fosters personal growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of those you support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as grooming, cooking, and medication management.
• Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
• Encourage social inclusion through participation in events and community activities.
• Document client progress and communicate any concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Work closely with families and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build positive relationships.
• Compassionate and patient attitude with a dedication to helping others.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• CPR and First Aid certification desired, or must be obtained shortly after hire.
