DSI Systems Inc., an Authorized Starlink Partner, is seeking a Starlink Sales Representative based in Urbandale, IA, to support and expand Starlink Business solutions within the Commercial Complex and Business Transaction segments. This role focuses on customer communication, partner/vendor coordination, opportunity management, and leadership reporting.

The Starlink Sales Representative will manage warm inbound leads provided through partners and internal channels while also building and expanding a self-generated sales portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at relationship management, and understands how to position Starlink’s capabilities within diverse business environments.

This is a full-time in-office position that will report to our office in Urbandale, Iowa, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert warm inbound leads from partners, vendors, and internal systems
  • Build, grow, and manage a self-generated sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and on-site business development
  • Promote Starlink Business services across commercial complex and business transaction verticals
  • Support quoting, scoping, and solution design based on customer environment and connectivity needs
  • Own the complete sales cycle from intake to close
  • Act as the primary contact for customer updates, expectations, and ongoing communication
  • Provide timely responses on pricing, timelines, and project status
  • Ensure clear and compliant communication with customers, partners, distributors, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with Starlink and other vendors to obtain accurate information, resolve issues, and drive opportunities forward
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and documentation of partnership interactions
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership, including pipeline status, forecasts, KPI updates, and deal progression summaries
  • Identify trends, challenges, and recommend process improvements for leadership review
  • Provide visibility into partner performance and escalate deal blockers as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in telecom, technology sales, B2B connectivity, or channel/partner sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing inbound leads and developing self-sourced outbound pipelines
  • Ability to work with multiple partners, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills; CRM experience (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Based in or near Urbandale, IA, with ability to travel locally or regionally as needed

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with satellite connectivity or Starlink products
  • Background in commercial complex or multi-location sales
  • Previous experience in vendor/commercial partner ecosystems
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations or vendor-supported extensions
