Position: Project Engineer
Location/s: Richmond, VA
Duration: Full time, Direct Hire
Shift: Night Shift (Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually

Your Role:

In this position, you will manage new product development from concept to execution, collaborating closely with our sales team and customers to deliver top-notch filtration solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Applications Engineering:

  • Collaborate with sales and customers to gather application data and assess feasibility.
  • Provide cost and lead time estimations for bids.
  • Perform detailed analyses to ensure designs meet performance targets.

    • Design Engineering:

  • Maintain engineering documentation per our AS9100-certified Quality Procedures.
  • Produce detailed drawing packages, including customer approval and manufacturing drawings.
  • Assist in creating work instructions and additional manufacturing procedures.

    • Project Engineering:

  • Facilitate the transition of projects to procurement and production.
  • Guide components through production to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage project timelines and devise qualification test plans.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (other engineering degrees considered).
  • 2+ year's of product design experience in an engineered-to-order environment (would consider internship experience)
  • 3D modeling experience with Autocad Inventor or Solidworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • A practical approach to engineering challenges and a high mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD.
