Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure bus is clean and in good working condition before and after each trip.
• Conduct regular safety checks on the bus and report any issues to the maintenance team.
• Follow designated bus routes and schedules while being flexible to accommodate changes.
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment for all students during transit.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation issues.
• Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Previous experience driving a school bus or similar vehicle preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to manage student behavior effectively while on the bus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background checks and drug testing as required.
