Precision CNC Machinist – Mill or Lathe
Location: Fenton, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40–50 hours per week
(Saturdays optional after qualification period)
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour to start, depending on experience
Overtime paid for all hours over 40

We are currently seeking a Skilled Precision Machinist with experience in either CNC Mill or CNC Lathe programming and machining. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced machinist who takes pride in precision work and has hands-on programming and setup experience.

This role offers long-term potential, with the opportunity to be hired in directly after meeting the required contract timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC Mill or Lathe machines
• Perform precision machining of components to tight tolerances
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot and make program adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in precision CNC programming and machining (Mill or Lathe)
• Strong understanding of tooling, setups, and machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience working with tight tolerances
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

Candidates will interview with leadership, followed by a hands-on discussion with the Shop Manager. Applicants may be asked to review or demonstrate their programming and machine experience during the process. Compensation may be adjusted based on demonstrated skill level and experience.
