Diesel Mechanic/Technicians at National Star Services

Description

National Start Services is a 27-year-old facility management Company providing different services all nationwide and we are now seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to for our Hutchins, TX 75141 location.  

This position focuses on the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of diesel engines and related systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform required maintenance and preventative maintenance services on fleet tractors and trailers in compliance with DOT 49 CFR 396
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Conduct lot checks to verify equipment condition and identify potential out-of-service (OOS) items
• Safely operate Class 8 vehicles in yard conditions
• Move fleet equipment in and out of service facilities
• Operate shop tools and equipment including welders, torches, impact wrenches, band saws, scaffolding, ladders, and other assigned tools

Available Schedule:

Monday to Friday

7:00am to 3:00pm

Starting Hourly Pay Rate:

$25.00/hr.  Biweekly Pay.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Diesel Mechanic License required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Background check and drug test will be conducted.
• Availability to start working ASAP.
