About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to help maintain the appearance, quality, and value of a residential community. This role focuses primarily on interior and exterior painting, with occasional support for general maintenance tasks. What You’ll Do
- Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including sanding, patching, priming, and finishing
- Repair and patch drywall and sheetrock to ensure smooth, professional results
- Match paint colors and apply finishes consistently using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Protect surrounding surfaces, furniture, and fixtures before painting
- Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, safe work area
- Complete work orders accurately and on schedule
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and proper material handling practices
- Support the maintenance team with minor repairs or projects as needed
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous painting experience through formal training, apprenticeship, or hands-on work
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and drywall repair
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with finishes and color matching
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in apartment, condominium/HOA, or hotel environments preferred
- English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus
