This is not just a “managing attorney” position.
This is a Principal-level opportunity.
We are seeking a Florida-licensed attorney who will serve as the Managing Attorney and Principal of our Florida practice — taking ownership of legal operations, maintaining compliance with Florida Bar rules, and actively litigating their own caseload while leading a growing team.

The Opportunity
As Managing Attorney (Florida), you will:
- Serve as the Principal Attorney of record for the Florida practice
- Maintain responsibility for compliance under Florida Bar rules and ethical obligations
- Oversee legal strategy, case handling, and litigation direction
- Carry and actively manage your own caseload
- Appear in court as required (remote and in-person)
- Supervise associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff
- Review and approve pleadings, filings, and settlement strategies
- Ensure quality control across all cases in the Florida division
- Help scale the Florida practice strategically and profitably
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead from the front — not from the sidelines.

Role Structure & Responsibility
Under Florida Bar rules, the principal attorney holds ultimate responsibility for the firm’s legal work and ethical compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Be the attorney responsible for supervision and professional conduct compliance
- Ensure adherence to trust accounting, advertising, and operational ethics requirements
- Lead case strategy while maintaining your own docket
- Set the professional standard for the Florida practice

Requirements
- Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar
- Minimum 5+ years of Florida litigation experience (civil preferred)
- Experience managing a full caseload independently
- Prior experience supervising attorneys or legal staff
- Strong courtroom presence and procedural knowledge
- Deep understanding of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
- Comfortable serving as Principal Attorney responsible under Florida Bar rules
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you think like an owner, not an employee
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
