We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Contract Civil Litigation Attorney specializing in FDCPA and Class Action Defense to join our team. Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings focusing on FDCPA and class action defense cases.
- Research case law and statutes relevant to ongoing litigation and utilize findings to build effective strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements to effectively advocate for clients.
- Manage a diverse caseload and ensure timely filing of documents and compliance with court procedures.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to bolster case strategies and streamline processes.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trials as necessary, advocating for the best interests of clients.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Jurisdictional license to practice law and in the Middle District Of Florida federal Court.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in FDCPA and class action defense.
- Strong analytical and research skills to interpret complex legal documents and case law.
- Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes and client representation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective advocacy and client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
