About the Position
The Senior Account Manager role is a Boise-based position, responsible for managing key clients— keeping projects on strategy, goals in focus, and communication flowing. You will use your agency experience to collaboratively develop our clients’ strategic marketing initiatives and nurture long-term growth of your accounts. With curiosity and business acumen, you’re leading strategy, growing client relationships, and supporting internal team development. This position reports to our Director of Accounts as an essential role on the client services team.

Sr. Account Manager 1 Responsibilities
- Be the main contact for your clients—building trust, keeping things moving, and making sure they feel taken care of.
- Turn client goals into clear plans and briefs that get the team aligned and excited.
- Coordinate with creatives, media folks, and project managers to deliver great work—on time and on budget.
- Keep clients in the loop with proactive updates and smart problem-solving.
- Help shape strategy and campaign plans alongside senior teammates.
- Stay organized with scopes, timelines, and budgets—no surprises.
- Pull performance data and help translate it into insights and next steps.
Sr. Account Manager 2 Responsibilities (Includes all Sr. AM1 responsibilities, plus...)
- Lead strategic planning and campaign development across projects.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships—be the person they call first.
- Guide internal teams to make sure creative and media work ladders up to the client’s goals.
- Confidently manage budgets, scopes, and change orders—keeping things smooth and transparent.
- Present ideas and creative work in a way that builds buy-in and excitement.
- Support junior teammates with mentorship, guidance, and feedback.
- Contribute to process improvement and cross-functional collaboration within the agency.
Sr. Account Manager 3 Responsibilities (Includes all Sr. AM2 responsibilities, plus...)
- Be the go-to strategic partner for key clients—trusted, respected, and proactive.
- Lead big-picture planning, forecast revenue, and drive growth across your accounts.
- Own complex campaigns and guide cross-functional teams toward results.
- Spot opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and pitch new ideas that drive real value.
- Oversee scopes, resourcing, and team structure to keep everything on track and profitable.
- Mentor and grow account team members—sharing knowledge, celebrating wins, and helping them level up.
- Partner with agency leadership to improve how we work, innovate, and grow new business.
Note: Job level upon employment is determined by experience and skills brought by the candidate. Responsibilities may evolve based on team and company needs.
Salary Ranges (2026)
Sr. Account Manager 1: $70,000 - $80,000
Sr. Account Manager 2: $75,000 - $85,000
Sr. Account Manager 3: $80,000 - $90,000
Note: Career pathing and timing of advancement is dependent upon many factors including but not limited to tenure, equity among team members, skillset development, organizational needs, productivity, reliability, superlative communication, advancing Stoltz values and norms through leadership, company financials, etc.
Requirements

- You have a degree in marketing, advertising, journalism or a related field—or 4-7 years of agency-specific experience.

- You’re highly skilled at presenting, pitching ideas, and helping grow agency business.

- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep cool when things get busy.
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and a strong writer.

- You follow marketing and tech trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- You’ve mastered budgets and understand the importance of client profitability to the overall health of the agency.
