AI Systems Product Manager at NYC Alliance Company LLC
NYC Alliance Company LLC · New York, United States Of America · On-site
- Office in New York
Description
NYC Alliance is building a next-generation AI-enabled operating system to fundamentally improve how products are conceived, designed, approved, and delivered—without compromising margin discipline, operational integrity, or accountability.
We are looking for an **AI Systems Product Manager** to design and own this system from a product perspective.
This role is about designing AI-powered workflows, decision systems, and guardrails that allow humans to move faster while staying within business and operational boundaries.
You will work at the intersection of:
* Business architecture
* AI agents and skills
* Product workflows
* Governance and rules
This role sits within the **CEO Office** and operates across all business units.
Responsibilities:
System-Level Product Design
* Design end-to-end AI-enabled workflows (e.g., Sales → Product → Cost → Sample → Order)
* Translate business rules (EPS, margin targets, feasibility constraints) into product logic and system guardrails
* Define how AI agents, human decision-makers (e.g., Product Business Owners), and rules interact
AI Agent & Workflow Ownership
* Design and iterate AI agent behaviors, responsibilities, and boundaries
* Define agent orchestration: what AI does, what humans decide, what rules enforce
* Ensure AI systems are explainable, auditable, and usable by non-technical users
Product Experience for Internal Users
* Own the product experience for internal users (Sales, PBOs, Supply Chain, Finance)
* Design decision interfaces that surface trade-offs, risks, and constraints clearly
* Optimize for clarity, accountability, and adoption—not novelty
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Work closely with Business, IT, Data, and Governance teams
* Partner with AI engineers to translate product intent into working systems
* Act as the single point of product truth across multiple AI initiatives
Outcome-Driven Delivery
* Define success metrics tied to business outcomes (cycle time, margin accuracy, decision quality)
* Drive MVPs and pilots into real operational usage
* Continuously refine systems based on real-world feedback and performance
This is a systems product role with real business accountability.
Requirements
8+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in:
Internal platform
Enterprise SaaS
Workflow or decision systems
AI, data, or platform products
Experience designing products with:
Complex rules
Multi-step workflows
Real-world constraints (finance, compliance, operations)
Product Mindset
* Thinks in systems, not features
* Comfortable saying “no” when speed compromises integrity
* Designs for scale, governance, and accountability
* Values clarity over cleverness
AI & Technical Fluency**
* Familiar with LLM-based systems and AI agents (without needing to build models)
* Understands concepts such as:
* Agent orchestration
* Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
* Guardrails and policy enforcement
* Able to work effectively with engineers and data teams
**Business Acumen**
* Strong intuition for margin, trade-offs, and operational risk
* Able to translate abstract business goals into concrete product behaviors
* Comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving environments
**Why This Role Matters**
This role directly shapes how NYFF operates in the AI era.
You will not just influence a product—you will influence:
* How decisions are made
* How accountability is enforced
* How scale is achieved without chaos
Few roles offer this level of **systemic impact**.
**Optional (But Strong Plus)**
* Experience with enterprise AI platforms or internal tools
* Background in supply chain, finance, or operations-adjacent domains
* Experience working with executive leadership or CEO Office–level initiatives
