Job Summary:
The Senior Open Innovation and Business Development Professional is responsible for identifying emerging industries that are gaining momentum, tracking their technological and business trends, and discovering new business items and novel application opportunities. This person will exercise discretion and independent judgment in the discharge of these responsibilities.
Responsibility:
· Sense / Analyze display technologies and industry trends and updates
· Identify & develop new business (or cooperation) opportunities for LG Display's current and future products including making customer relationships
· Support / report to President of LGDUS
· To locate or propose potential businesses by proactively searching for potential partners, innovative technologies, products, offerings and services discovering and exploring opportunities based on open innovation strategy
· To screen potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategy with existing LG Display’s products, customers, channels; evaluating and estimating financial results; resolving internal priorities; examining risks and improve decisions
· Design and negotiate terms and conditions for collaboration and business partnership with partners
· To arrange and manage protocol of top managements such as CEO, CTO, and Vice Presidents
· Comply with the company’s policy and procedures
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Expected base salary: $100,000 ~ $180,000 (the salary offered will depend on several factors including years of experiences, levels, education, training, and internal employees)

Requirements
· 7+ years of open innovation and business development experience at consumer electronics companies preferred
· Master’s in engineering, MBA, or equivalent experience preferred
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
· Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred
· Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
