In Pursuit of this mission, we are looking to hire a Dean of Academics. The Dean of Academics will assist the building Principal in the data-tracking of school improvement and partnership related activities and action plans. The Dean of Academics will collect data from multiple sources (district benchmark assessments, diagnostic assessments, progress monitoring data, and curricular assessments) to support the building leader and building-level teams (School Guiding Coalition, CRPBIS, Attendance, and Student Success Team) in using assessment data to inform instructional decisions through the PLC process. The Dean of Academics will work directly with the building administrator and Director of Continuous Improvement to support requirements of the state partnership agreement.

Bachelor’s degree
Experience with process improvement

Job Responsibilities
Assist building administrator in reviewing attendance, academic, behavioral data to evaluate increased outcomes.
Assist the building administrator in leading team meetings to support the successful implementation of all teams in data decision-making.
Review building-level data weekly, and meet with the building leader to monitor improvement.
Support building leader with ensuring building-level compliance to district procedures and implementation of programming; both academic and behavioral.
Engage in all team meetings, community/school meetings, and other district meetings representing the school in sharing specific data, logs, reports, as it relates to the Dean of Academics position.

Must be able to move throughout the building and campus, including classrooms, hallways, and outdoor spaces.
Frequent verbal communication is required to instruct students, lead meetings, and collaborate with staff and families.
May be required to stand or walk for extended periods, including during supervisory duties.
Occasional bending, reaching, or sitting on the floor to interact with students.
Regular use of computers and instructional technology for planning, instruction, and communication.
Must be able to lift or carry instructional materials and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
