Description
The Quality Control Technician ensures the final output meets regulatory and company standards while minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency. QA technicians often work closely with production teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with quality protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure machined parts, assembled products and manufacturing processes meet documented requirements to support the business objectives.
- Inspect dimensions, and assemblies to engineering drawings and inspection plans. Ensure proper assembly of all sub-assemblies and finished devices.
- Inspect the work of machinists and assemblers during the production process, to ensure requirements are being met.
- Initiate nonconformances into the QMS, thoroughly document the specifics of the issue. Assist with investigations as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience performing quality inspections.
- Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret engineer drawings.
