Your role and responsibilities
Monitor database activities through Imperva DAM console to identify and investigate suspicious or unauthorized access attempts.
Analyse security alerts, audit logs, and policy violations generated by DAM tools and escalate as per incident response processes.
Collaborate with DBAs, Application Owners, and Security teams to tune policies and reduce false positives.
Perform daily health checks of the DAM infrastructure (Gateways, Agents, MX, Database connectors).
Generate weekly/monthly compliance and activity reports as per organizational or regulatory requirements.
Support integration of new databases into the DAM platform and ensure correct policy application.
Work on incident triage, evidence collection, and RCA for security events.
Assist in audit readiness by ensuring data access monitoring is accurate and complete.
