Responsibilities

  • Shipping / Receiving: (Domestic and International)
  • Monitor emails, follow up with requests and record all shipments & deliveries in log
  • ·     Collect outgoing mail, inter office documents & overnight packages from all team members
  • ·     Receive all deliveries, inspect & verify contents. Verify stamp packing slip and deliver
  • ·     Coordinate HATCI team vehicle shipments & deliveries
  • ·     Verify and quarantine all fixed asset goods received and distribute to team members
  • ·     Ensure products and record fixed asset tags prior to distribution
  • ·     Prepare all outgoing shipments: box, pack, weigh, secure quote, seal packaging, complete shipping documents, schedule pick up and load onto truck when necessary
  • ·     Receive, sort by department and deliver incoming USPS mail and certified mail
  • ·     Coordinate annual forklift / aerial lift inspections, conduct maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance
  • ·     Coordinate all (international / domestic) HAZMAT / dangerous goods shipments
  • ·     Maintain shipping dock and ramp equipment
  • ·     Coordinates all compressed gas deliveries & storage (propane, oxygen, Co, Co2, NOX)
  • Facility Coordination
  • ·     Document facility recycling of universal waste (light bulbs, batteries, ballast etc.)
  • ·     Document EV battery storage and recycling process
  • ·     Coordinate facility waste management ( weekly trash, bulk trash & scrap metal)
  • ·     Facility waste lift station and sump pump maintenance
  • ·     Facility maintenance (facility lights, toilets, faucets, drains, urinals, carpets & tile floors)
  • ·     Manage facility classified document collection and destruction  
  • ·     Requisition of facility supplies (boxes, pallets, bulbs, ballast, plumbing, etc.)
  • ·     Coordinate facility HATCI events (Tech shows, Town Halls, Auto Show Preview etc.)
  • ·     Manage corporate signage and flags
  • ·     Manages Cintas / HATCI uniform program for Michigan facility
  • ·     Manage facility pest and rodent control
  • ·     Knowledge of facility security and safety procedures (emergency facility sweeper)
  • ·     Knowledge of facility fire suppression systems and fire extinguisher maintenance

    • Qualifications

  • ·     Certified forklift operator. Maintain forklift usage log
  • ·     DOT and RCRA hazardous waste certified
  • ·     Knowledge of requirements for international customs policies and commercial invoice creation
  • ·     Proficient in SAP and budget planning skills
  • ·     Proficient in general facility maintenance skills
  • ·     Time management and organizational skills required
  • ·     Experience working in a cultural diverse team environment
  • ·     Routine heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • ·     Ability to perform outdoors during extreme weather and temperature
