The Impact of a Sr. Marketing Operations Specialist at Coupa:
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Specialist with a focus on marketing automation and sales enablement tools to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure the health and efficiency of our marketing and campaign execution - from campaign setup, templating, automations and lead creation/scoring. This role will serve the larger global Marketing team as a neutral, cross-functional partner to monitor, report on, and analyze marketing and lead development processes. Your work will help maintain a healthy pipeline, speed up lead-to-deal conversion, and support revenue growth across the business.
What You'll Do:
Build, deploy, and optimize marketing and sales automation (e.g., Marketo, LeanData, Outreach), including workflows, campaigns, lead scoring, UTMs, QA, and database health.
Ensure all marketing and sales efforts follow best practices, are scalable and measurable, and enable full attribution across touchpoints.
Partner with digital and field marketing to identify gaps or underperforming campaigns/sequences and recommend improvements based on performance data.
Collaborate with Marketing/Sales leadership and Sales Enablement to drive effective tool usage and continuously optimize campaigns and processes.
Serve as the primary liaison for sales enablement tools, supporting troubleshooting, feature rollouts, platform optimization, and data integrity through regular audits and cleanup.
Optimize and maintain the marketing operations tech stack while documenting and sharing best practices to support adoption, onboarding, and marketing–sales alignment.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
5+ years of marketing experience with exposure to both digital and traditional channels; strong understanding of B2B demand generation and sales processes.
Hands-on proficiency with marketing automation tools (Marketo, LeanData, Outreach, Goldcast, or equivalents) and advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
Working knowledge of CRM and analytics platforms such as Salesforce and Tableau preferred.
Data-driven, self-directed problem solver who leverages Marketo to its full potential while thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to lead projects, build cross-functional relationships, and manage multiple priorities.
Proven initiative, strong work ethic, and analytical mindset, with experience in large technology companies considered a strong plus.
