Description
We’re looking for a Senior CNC Machinist who enjoys complex setups, problem-solving, and leading by example on the shop floor.
This is a hands-on role, not management — ideal for an experienced machinist who wants influence without leaving the machines.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
- Read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Program or modify toolpaths using Mastercam
- Optimize tooling, feeds/speeds, and setup processes
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, indicators, and height gages
- Support and mentor other machinists
- Document work and inspection results in ProShop ERP
- Contribute to continuous improvement and shop organization
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Mastercam and precision inspection tools
- Solid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining strategies
- Familiarity with AS9100 practices
- Reliable, quality-focused, and team-oriented
