In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and refinishing on vehicles damaged by accidents or wear and tear. Responsibilities
- Repair and replace damaged body parts, including panels, doors, and bumpers
- Perform frame straightening, dent removal, and bodywork using industry-standard techniques
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply paint and clear coat according to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs meet company standards and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive body repair certification is preferred
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive bodywork procedures and tools
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
