Project Manager (with Test Lead Experience) – Oracle Fusion & Data Programs at Rackspace

Role Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager with strong Test Lead/QA leadership experience to drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise transformation programs involving Oracle Fusion Finance/Accounting modules and Data Platform integrations (Azure Databricks). This role will manage project governance, execution, and stakeholder communication while also ensuring high-quality delivery through robust testing strategy and execution oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead end-to-end project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, risks/issues, and dependency management.
- Develop and maintain project plans, delivery milestones, and execution governance.
- Drive Agile execution (sprint planning, backlog tracking, status reporting, RAID management).
- Facilitate stakeholder forums such as weekly status calls, steering committee meetings, and retrospectives.
- Ensure timely delivery across cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Business, Data, and SMEs).
Testing Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Own the overall testing strategy and test governance for the program.
- Lead planning and execution for Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
- Ensure test artifacts are complete and audit-ready: test plan, test cases, traceability, and coverage reports.
- Manage defect lifecycle: logging, triage, prioritization, closure, and release readiness.
- Drive test automation initiatives and align QA execution using tools such as Selenium / Java / Python.
Domain & Integration Focus
- Coordinate testing and delivery across Oracle Fusion Finance modules such as:
- GL / COA / Accounting / Reporting / Procurement / Payroll / Investments / Consolidation
- Manage validation across data pipelines and reporting layers integrating with:
- Azure Databricks / modern data repositories / analytics platforms
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management / Delivery Leadership with hands-on governance ownership.
- 4+ years of experience as a Test Lead / QA Lead, managing enterprise testing across multiple streams.
- Strong experience working with Oracle Fusion Finance / Accounting / Reporting ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery and coordination across technical + business stakeholders.
- Experience managing delivery involving data engineering platforms (Databricks, Azure stack preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and escalation handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master (preferred)
- Testing certification: ISTQB (good to have)
- Exposure to IFRS17 / Insurance Accounting / Actuarial domain is a plus
