About the role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of instrument performance in the field; including installation, maintenance, servicing, upgrades, and retrofits.
You’ll also play a key role in feeding back site findings and insights to the organisation to help drive continuous improvement.
You will work closely with our Engineering teams based in New York, Stockholm, UK, and other locations across the EU.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering field (Essential)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering Field (Desirable)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a technical, engineering, or field service role.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and retrofit instruments, ensuring full documentation and compliance with internal standards.
Provide onsite and remote support to multiple clinics, enabling maximum instrument uptime for clinical staff.
Collaborate closely with engineers, clinical staff, and other departments to improve processes and product quality over time.
Identify and communicate areas for improvement to relevant internal teams.
Support the Functional Lead in ongoing maintenance activities.
Escalate complex technical issues to the Functional Lead as necessary.
