Growth & Marketing Intern (X) at Convergent

Description

This is a hands-on role focused on building our presence and driving growth on X (Twitter). You'll create content, engage with the tech/AI community, and experiment with strategies to grow our audience and brand awareness.

You will:

• Own and manage Convergent's X account day-to-day.
• Create and schedule engaging content: posts, threads, memes, commentary.
• Engage with the AI, startup, and tech community—build relationships and visibility.
• Monitor trends and conversations to find opportunities for timely content.
• Experiment with growth tactics and track what works (impressions, engagement, followers).
• Collaborate with product and leadership to amplify launches, features, and company news.
• Analyze performance and share learnings to refine our content strategy.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Active on X with a good feel for what works on the platform.
• Strong writing skills—clear, punchy, and engaging.
• Interest in AI, startups, and tech culture.
• Self-starter who can create and ship content independently.
• Comfortable with fast iteration and experimentation.

Nice to have:

• Personal account with some traction or examples of content you've created.
• Understanding of B2B marketing or SaaS.

Benefits

Compensation varies based on profile and experience, but a general cash range for the 3-month internship (fixed comp + performance variable) is $5,000-$10,000, plus a competitive equity package in case you are confirmed.
