As an Autonomous Flight Systems Intern, you will contribute to the development, integration, and validation of flight control and autonomy features on Auterion-powered UAVs within the enterprise product team. Gain hands-on experience with Auterion’s technology stack, real-world testing, and product validation while collaborating with engineers, hardware experts, and customers. Responsibilities
- Integrate, develop features for and maintain autonomous aerial vehicles.
- Design and implement algorithms in control, estimation, system state monitoring and management.
- Test in simulation and in real flights, evaluate performance and iterate quickly.
- Document and report procedures and results.
Qualifications and Skills
- Final-year Master’s student or graduate in mechanical, electrical, computer science, robotics or related engineering field.
- Software development experience. C++ preferred.
- Knowledge of robotics topics like system dynamics, estimation, control.
- Familiarity with some of the following: Git, Linux, networking.
- Experience with robotic hardware and electronics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bonus: PX4 ecosystem or aerial robotics experience.
- Eligible to work in Switzerland.
