QUALITY ASSURANCE
What We Do
The Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.
What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a full-time Tester for our new testing group in Brazil. The person in this role will be responsible for running tests and reporting bugs within a major Epic product. You will work closely with the development team and follow the instructions of a test lead on a daily basis. If you are interested in a fast-paced environment, capable of navigating interpersonal quandaries, and have the desire to work on a world-class QA team, then we would love to talk to you.
In this role, you will
- Execute test cases with great attention to detail to ensure the quality of our products.
- Thoroughly investigate and analyze issues to identify their root causes.
- Write clear and concise bug reports with detailed steps to reproduce the issues.
- Effectively communicate issues and escalate them when necessary, while understanding the broader goals of the product.
- As needed, report on blocking issues, test results, and quality status to the QA team and other development team members.
- Leverage knowledge of product features to uncover issues and inefficiencies.
What we're looking for
- Technical software or troubleshooting skills (ongoing or completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent, self-taught, or relevant experience).
- Excellent written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Experience with gaming consoles and/or mobile devices.
- Proven ability to identify and communicate issues/bugs in software/games clearly and concisely.
