We are looking to add a Supply Chain Intern to our team for the summer. If you enjoy working in a fast-pace, startup environment and are passionate about leading-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management while supporting the daily operations of our organization. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management or logistics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with indirect procurement activities to support the business operations
Maintain supply chain inventory and records
Collect, analyze, and summarize supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to the supply chain team.
Track supply chain effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities
Assist with inventory management by supporting the tracking, monitoring, and analysis of inventory
Provide general administrative support to the supply chain team, including maintaining documentation, organizing files, and participating in meetings.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS), or PhD program in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related field at an accredited university.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
Great project management and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is a plus.
