We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex web applications. Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical domain is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Leverage BDD frameworks to create readable and maintainable test scenarios (e.g., using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar tools).
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the development team to drive resolution.
Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automatic test execution.
Maintain detailed test documentation and report on test progress and outcomes.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in a Software Testing space
Hands on proficiency in Playwright
Skills:
Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.
Adaptable and comfortable working across diverse applications and business groups.
Proactive attitude towards learning and embracing new technologies.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical domain is highly desirable.
