Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA seeking a Senior Contracts Consultant. This is a part time position and 100% remote position
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and provide recommendations on contract terms, conditions, compliance requirements, and risk considerations; support negotiations under the direction of company leadership.
- Provide advisory and consultative support for federal contracts/subcontracts compliance, teaming agreements, consultant agreements, NDA's, negotiations, and administration.
- Support and guide contract negotiations and modifications and addendums to existing contracts.
- Support cost/pricing responses by reviewing solicitation requirements, pricing assumptions, and contractual provisions associated with bids and proposals.
- Tracks and analyzes contracts requirements and communicates performance and contract compliance to executive leadership, government customers, subcontractors and primes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for GSA/GWAC actions and inquiries.
- Participates in pricing strategy discussions.
- Actively supports, engages in Business Development, Capture and Proposal activities.
- Analyzes all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Ensures that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Audits existing contracts and oversees contract modifications.
- Collaborate with Business Development to source and provide strategic input on government market assessment and contracting opportunities.
- Conducts other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years as a Contracts Manager/Consultant supporting government contracts
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) designation preferred.
- Expert level experience administering Federal government contracts, preferably in a small business
- Expert knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, GSA and government contracting rules and regulations
- Ability to successfully negotiate all types of government contracts.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibits strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Possesses expert level knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations and codes.
