Our team is looking for a Lead Carpenter/Handyman that has the ability to work independently with a helper/trainee.

This person will play a vital role in constructing, repairing, and restoring in a vast variety of construction and handyman projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship across diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to repair and restoration work. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision and attention to detail
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components
• Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation, drywall finishing, painting, and general repair work
• Install fixtures such as lighting, cabinetry, doors, and hardware while adhering to safety standards
• Will work on flooring installation, tile laying, and general home repairs
• Support construction estimating processes by providing accurate assessments of materials and labor requirements
• Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site activities while maintaining safety protocols

Skills

• Good experience with construction site operations including framing, siding, drywall finishing, and restoration projects
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) safely and effectively
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during physically demanding tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in carpentry finishing work such as caulking, drywall finishing, painting, and fixture installation
• Prior experience demonstrating versatility across various repair and maintenance tasks

3-5 Years experience. Able to work independently, able to guide coworker with little experience. Driver's License.
