The Facilities Director is a high-impact leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all aspects of facilities systems for a regulated pharmaceutical compounding environment. This role requires an individual capable of building a facility operations program from the ground up—including preventative maintenance systems, engineering controls, equipment uptime strategies, and emergency response plans. This leader will ensure that all systems are safe, compliant, reliable, and responsive to urgent operational needs.
Pay: $120K/YR

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities operations program from the ground up, including preventative maintenance schedules, engineering controls, and equipment reliability strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, USP standards) for pharmaceutical compounding facilities, maintaining audit readiness at all times.
Design and oversee critical systems such as HVAC, cleanroom environments, water systems, and other utilities essential for sterile compounding operations.
Establish and manage emergency response plans to address facility-related incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to production and patient safety.
Lead facility risk assessments and mitigation strategies, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Engineering) to align facility operations with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for facility maintenance, calibration, and repair services.
Monitor and optimize equipment uptime and reliability, leveraging data-driven approaches to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation for all facility systems, including SOPs, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
Provide leadership and mentorship to facilities staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
