Threat Tec, a leader in operational environment replication and training solutions, is seeking a qualified Operations Planner to join our team at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive training programs, leveraging their expertise in battle staff operations, special operations capabilities, and multi-domain operations. This position requires strong planning, communication, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring our training solutions meet and exceed mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement battle staff training and operations, focusing on realism and interoperability
Lead and facilitate planning processes (Marine Corps Planning Process, Military Decision-Making Process, or equivalent)
Coordinate and synchronize tactical C2 systems and common operating picture systems to support training objectives
Collaborate with internal and external partners, leveraging a thorough understanding of Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities, support requirements, and operations
Integrate multi-domain considerations (land, air, maritime, cyberspace, space) into planning and training events
Deliver clear, concise briefings and coordinate across multiple functional teams to ensure timely execution of tasks
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Adhere to all security and compliance requirements; maintain active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of prior military service
Demonstrated experience in the development of battle staff training and operations
Experience serving on the staff of a special operations or combat arms battalion, regiment, or brigade
Proficiency in leading planning processes (Marine Corps Planning Process, MDMP, or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with tactical C2 and common operating picture systems
Thorough understanding of SOF capabilities, support, and operations
Understanding of multi-domain operations
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task effectively
Active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience conducting training using Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3) or VBS4
Familiarity with multi-domain and system of systems integration
Military instructor experience or additional training in digital master gunnery, battle staff operations, simulation operations, or command post operations
Experience with Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P), or Tactical Mission Command (TMC) servers
Work experience in the planning, development, and execution of a Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) accredited or service-level exercise program
Experience working with Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs)
