Sort Team Leader at DuPage Machine Products

Description

Sorts and reworks rejected parts. Responsible for inventory control.  Assists sort supervisor with day to day operations of sort department.

·        Visual inspection of parts to ensure quality

·        Inspect parts with pin gage

·        Update inventory system

·        Act as leader of department and assists other sort workers when needed

·        Clean work area

·        All other duties as assigned

Requirements

·        Basic Computer Skills

·        Ability to enter information into Vantage computer system

·        Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

·        Fine finger dexterity

·        Ability to print basket tickets

·        Able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift

·        Read gages and blue prints

·        Safety minded at all times

·        Basic reading and math skills

·        Must be able to read and understand basic English and Spanish

·        Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
