Twin Air Aviation, LLC, a premier aviation service provider, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our dedicated maintenance team. The AMT will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on our fleet of aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FAA regulations, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to ensure safe aircraft operation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, documenting all repairs, inspections, and parts replacements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards during maintenance activities.
- Work closely with the flight operations team to minimize downtime and maintain aircraft availability.
- Manage inventory, order parts, and track tools and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
- Stay current with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines to ensure compliance and safety.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT), with a strong understanding of aircraft systems, components, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge of FAA Part 91 and Part 135 regulations for general aviation aircraft.
- Experience working with single-engine and multi-engine aircraft, with a preference for experience on twin-engine planes.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, equipment, and software to assess and repair aircraft.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to document and report maintenance activities accurately.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and work under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
