Field Learning Specialist
As the Field Learning Specialist for Factor_, you will be responsible for developing and executing onboarding and recurring training programs for all new and existing team members from our hourly team members to senior leadership. You have the autonomy to identify training gaps and develop a plan of execution to ensure all employees are operating at their full potential.
Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
- Facilitate large group and individual level training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas that will include lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops.
- Partner with department leaders to identify and prioritize technical and skills gaps, while partnering with subject matter experts to learn the standard process/behavior for department roles.
- Perform administrative functions necessary to document training programs and track employee training and progress.
- Manage technical training events including arrangement of equipment procurement, room reservation, and facilities requests.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs for incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employee work behavior and revise accordingly.
- Communicate and work with managers and supervisors to coordinate and schedule training.
- Drives the execution of all learning related audits and supports any operational audit initiatives.
- Tracks performance and supports any identified retraining opportunities.
- Audits Powered Industrial Equipment Training program and trainer standard work.
- Act as lead and provide guidance to Ops Trainers.

- Implement and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology.
- Communicate effectively both written and verbal, and to listen, question, interpret, and clarify.
- Present complex information and respond to questions from a variety of audiences.
- Solve practical problems and detect or identify training problems proactively.
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while delivering high -quality results in a fast paced environment.
- Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Highly motivated, self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision, as well as take a proactive approach in being team-oriented
Basic Qualifications
- Associate Degree with 4+ years of professional experience in technical training in a regulated environment or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in technical training in a regulated environment preferred
- Have excellent communication, presentation, facilitation skills, and the ability to coach others.
- Advance skills with computer hardware and software.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite.
- Experience in warehouse, distribution or fulfillment center environment.
