About the role
Imagine leading the implementation of key components of our ERP system, focusing on MSD Finance & Operations. The ERP Specialist - Operations will work closely with the external implementation partner as well as the internal stakeholders to oversee the implementation, optimization, and operation of the organization’s ERP system. Ensure the smooth development, customization, and maintenance of the company's ERP. The ERP Specialist will play a hybrid role in understanding business needs, proposing and prioritizing developments, ensuring their technical implementation, and resolving incidents. What You´ll Do
- Gather and challenge the needs from internal stakeholders, primarily finance, production and operations teams
- Manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation project in partnership with the external ERP implementation partner as well as with the, HR and IT from initiation, planning, execution to closing
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation for each implementation phase such as timelines, requirements, process maps, solution designs and change management plans.
- Ensure effective communications and expectations with internal and external stakeholders by chairing and minuting regular project team meetings.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery for all project related action items and deliverables.
- Ensure implemented solutions comply with internal and regulatory policies and non-conforming processes are sought out and aligned.
- Keep track of the project schedule against milestones. Analyze project progress and costs, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
- Prepare periodic summary progress updates to project sponsors including completed work, upcoming work and any risks the project faces.
- Ensure that on demand and in person training is provided for all admin staff and other stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate with ERP partners and internal stakeholders to conduct User Acceptance Testing before go-live of any change or update
- Prioritization and processing of support and change requests
- Continuously optimize existing processes, innovations documented
- Provide level 1 user support and raise level 2/3 issues to external providers (diagnosis, bug resolution)
- Identify gaps between existing processes and standard ERP features
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation
- Conducting training courses and workshops for internal users
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- Completed degree in IT, business informatics, or business administration
- Proven, hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or similar with a minimum of 3 end-to-end implementations including Production Control and Advanced Warehousing.
- Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, interfacing/integration, and best practices.
- Profound understanding of chain of value, Intercompany transaction,
- Ability to translate operational requirements into the standard ERP work-flows
- Experience in project management and ERP system configuration
- Capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining a clear focus on priorities and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a small team
- Open-minded, methodical, conscientious, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Microsoft certification in supply chain management is beneficial.
- Experience working in or with engineering led manufacturing organisations.
