At CesiumAstro, we are developers and pioneers of out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. We take pride in our dynamic and cross-functional work environment, which allows us to learn, develop, and engage across our organization. If you are looking for hands-on, interactive, and autonomous work, CesiumAstro is the place for you. We are actively seeking passionate, collaborative, energetic, and forward-thinking individuals to join our team.
The Analog & Power Electronics team is responsible for developing advanced power electronics for our space and military products. We own analog and power electronics designs for multi-output power supply modules and for point of load (PoL) power supplies for RF and Digital boards. We are responsible for the entire development cycle from power architecture development to part selection, schematic and printed circuit board (PCB) design, verification testing, and production release. Designs encompass the entire spectrum of power supply development including power conversion, power management and control, fault management, and power filtering for low noise and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
We’re looking for summer interns to support our mission. Interns work side-by-side with experienced power electronics engineers. Interns in the Analog & Power team are typically responsible for design projects that directly contribute towards an on-going program or contribute towards advancing the Analog & Power Electronics team’s technology development road map. Interns will also gain valuable experience in hands-on laboratory characterization and troubleshooting of power electronics.
To apply, please include a brief cover letter describing your interest in power or analog electronics hardware design.
