• Oversees and directs daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Delivers patient education to facilitate plan of care, employer informed healthcare choices, and promote optimal wellness.
• Facilitates effective teamwork with other clinical support staff as directed by Clinical Leadership and in collaboration with Providers.
• Demonstrates ability to delegate care appropriately.
• Demonstrates competent healthcare assessment skills, prioritizing skills and critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures as needed; consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines.
• Performs venipunctures, administers injections, and initiates intravenous therapy.
• Obtains, monitors, and records vital signs, patient history, and invasive procedures, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Coordinates patient care with other disciplines in the health care system and others as needed to achieve the highest possible level of patient care and satisfaction.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Arranges for provider ordered diagnostics or therapeutic services.
• Ensures cleanliness, adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in examination rooms.
• Completes shift opening and closing procedures.
• Assists all providers and other clinical staff as needed and assigned.

Must be HIPAA compliant
• Two years clinical experience required.
• Applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
- Medical Assistant:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by American Medical Technologist (AMT)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) by the National Center for Competency Testing
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcare Association
- Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) by the American Medical Certification Association
- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant by the National Association for Health Professionals
- State of Colorado Licensed Practical Nurse or valid compact state license
- State of Colorado Emergency Medical Technician license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
