Sr. Technician, Motor Gear Box at Lucid Motors

Basic Qualifications:
- Strong fundamental understanding of how electric motors and geartrains function (must- mostly on geartrain)
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble motors and gear systems without instructions (either or on this one)
- Experience with root cause analysis at the component and system level (Must)
- Familiarity with high precision measurement tools including bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers (must)
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools and build equipment (must)
- Knowledgeable with basic electrical tools: DMM, Hi-POT Tester and Oscilloscope (not all but some at least one if others are strong)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating engineering (eval communication/subjective collab at interview)
- Works safely in environments with high voltage and heavy equipment (Ideally, but if they have strong mechanical assembly and some other PPE worth seeing)
- Minimum of 4 years of automotive (or related) technician experience (yes)
- Oscilloscope

- Minimum of 4 years of automotive (or related) technician experience (if less years he’s willing to downgrade the seniority of the req)
Preferred:
- Experience with electric vehicle propulsion systems
- Exposure to manufacturing processes and controls
- Capable of fabricating with manual mill and lathe
